MARK D. VAN DE WEGE

It is with sadness that we share that Mark D. Van De Wege, age 73, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024.

Mark was born on December 2, 1951 to Christian and Helen (Lubbers) Van De Wege; he had one sister, Loretta (Lolly) and one brother, Don.

Mark grew up in rural Oostburg and graduated from Oostburg High School. He furthered his education at LTC and earned a Mechanical Design degree.

Mark began working as a Detail Draftsman at the Kohler Co. in 1973. After almost 44 years of employment with varied engineering responsibilities and numerous promotions, he retired as a Staff Analyst for Global Faucets in 2017.

Mark was a Kohler Co. Quarter-Century member and took great pride in his work. Mark was a very kind man.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Lolly and her husbands David TeRonde and Robert Wade; brother Don and his wife, Debbie and nephew, Rodney TeRonde.

Mark is survived by two nieces, Kristi and Amy, two nephews, Jonathan and Matthew, and their families, as well as numerous good friends. He will be missed.

Per Mark’s wishes, there will be no funeral.
