Mark W. TeLindert, 72, of Cedar Grove, died on Friday night, May 25, 2012, at his home surrounded by his family. Mark was born April 1, 1940 in Sheboygan to Willard and Pearl (Klug) TeLindert. He graduated from Cedar Grove High School in 1959 and attended Lakeshore Technical College's agricultural courses. Mark took over the family dairy farm in the Town of Holland, where his cows were very special to him. He was also part owner of Agri-Liquid Fertilizer Company. Mark was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Random Lake where he served on the church council. He was also a member of the NFO (National Farmers Organization), Beaver Creek Saddle and Bridal Club, and charter member of the Amsterdam Lions Club. Mark enjoyed playing cards, ice fishing, gardening, and fixing machinery (he could fix anything). He shared a love for the Packers. On September 24, 2001, Mark received a new heart and kidney. He was a four year melanoma cancer survivor, aided greatly by his unsurpassed will and faith. He lived with lots of hope, but also plenty of pain, uncertainty, and constant changes. Mark was a true optimist. He always looked on the bright side and was an inspiration to many. He will always be remembered for his loving, caring nature, and generosity. Mark will be deeply missed by his wife, his family, and by all who knew him.
