Mark L. Lilyquist, 75, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at his home in the town of Lima surrounded by his family.

Mark was born February 22, 1950 in Sheboygan, the son of Clifford Sr. and Julianne (Hertensteiner) Lilyquist. He attended Sheboygan area schools graduating from North High School in 1969. He went on to serve his country in the United States Army. 

For the next 32 years, he worked in die repair and maintenance in the diecast division at Tecumseh, and later Ongna Wood Products until his retirement. 

On September 13, 1969 he was united in marriage with Margaret Greuel. The two shared 55 years together making countless precious memories with their family. 

Mark enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow up, fishing, road trips and going to the casino. 

Mark is survived by his wife Margie of the Town of Lima and their daughters: Jen (Troy) Hilbelink of Oostburg and Kari Schmitt of Plymouth; grandchildren Alexandra Greenheck, Reagan, Gracie and Gage Hilbelink and Madison and Jordan Schmitt; brothers Clifford Lilyquist, Jr. and Gary (Marge) Lilyquist, brother-in-law Bruce Greuel; sisters-in-law Fran (Gene) Gasper, Bev (Steve) McIntosh, Nancy (Tom) Kuehl, Diane Rohde and Cynthia Lilyquist; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law Franklin and Rosina Greuel, brother Michael Lilyquist, sister-in-law Marie Lilyquist and brother-in-law Bob Rohde. 

Per Mark’s wishes, a private family service will be held, and he will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Kohler. 

The family would like to thank the VA Oncology Departments in Green Bay and Milwaukee as well as Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their compassion and loving care.
