Marjorie Jean Lammers Marjorie J. Lammers, 89, formerly of Oostburg, died Sunday morning, March 22, 2009 at Pine Haven Christian Home in Sheboygan Falls where she had been a resident for the past 17 years. Marjorie was born on December 6, 1919 in the Town of Holland, the daughter of the late Arnold and Alice (Kleinhesselink) DePagter. She graduated from Oostburg High School in 1936. On May 16, 1941 Marjorie married the late Eugene Lammers in the Town of Holland. He preceded her in death on November 20, 1984. Marjorie was a member of the Bethel Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Oostburg and the Rebekah Society. She was also a member of the Lakeview Homemakers Club. She enjoyed Marjorie is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Daniel) Huenink of Hingham and Betty (Dale) Teunissen of Cedar Grove; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one sister, Alice June (Roland) VerVelde of Oostburg; and one brother-in-law, Leslie Cole of Oostburg. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; one sister, Evelyn Cole; and one brother, DePagter. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 2 pm at the Bethel Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Oostburg with the Rev. John Tinsley officiating. A family service will precede in the fellowship hall at 1:45 pm. Burial will follow at Hartman Cemetery in the Town of Wilson. Friends may greet the family on until the time of the service at 2 pm.
