Marion E. Korff, 98, of Kohler, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014, at Harmony of Sheboygan. Marion was born on February 20, 1916, in Sheboygan, daughter of William and Adele (Henklman) Schmidt. She was a graduate of Sheboygan South High School. On September 24, 1938, Marion married Arthur F. Korff. Marion was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Kohler where she was the secretary for the Ladies Auxiliary. She was active in a bowling league and enjoyed Bridge, bowling, crocheting, cooking, knitting, and gardening. Marion is survived by her two daughters, Corinne (John) Roelse of New Holstein and Eileen Lemkuil of Sheboygan Falls; seven grandchildren, Deborah Lemkuil, John (Patty) Lemkuil, Jennifer Preder, Loretta Lemkuil, Christopher (Lori) Schils, Heather (Phillip) Hanson, and Jeremy (Mai) Schils; 11 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Marion was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, one sister, Ruth (Marvin) Korff, three brothers, Walter (Alberta), William (Agnes), and Harvey (Edna) Schmidt. Funeral services to celebrate Marion's life will be held at 12pm on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at the Wenig Funeral Home of Sheboygan Falls with Rev. George Schaetzle officiating. Burial will take place at Woodland Cemetery in Kohler. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 12pm. A memorial fund has been established in Marion's name for Bethany Lutheran Church.
