Marie Baumann

Marie M. Baumann, 83, of North 22nd Street, Sheboygan died unexpectedly on Friday morning, February 27, 2009 at Sheboygan Medical Center where she had been a patient since Thursday. Marie was born on September 5, 1925 in Cleveland, the daughter of the late William and Anna (Harth) Henning. She graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1943. On April 4, 1978 Marie married the late Bernard Baumann in Las Vegas, NV. He preceded her in death on February 10, 2005. Marie worked for the Kohler Co. for 25 years before her retirement in 1991. Marie was a member of the First United Lutheran Church in Sheboygan and the Kohler Quarter Century Club. She attended the Sheboygan Senior Center and enjoyed ceramics, her cat and going out to lunch with her friends. Marie is survived by a daughter, Julie Reichert of Germantown; two grandchildren, Donna (Greg) Krueger of Little Chute and Lee Schleicher of Weyauwega; one great granddaughter, Chelsea Schleicher; and one sister, Vera Schwert of Pewaukee. Marie was preceded in death by her husband and an infant brother. A private family interment will take place at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.
