Marianne Schroeder

Marianne Schroeder, 93, of Town of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Tuesday, November 02, 2010 at Sheboygan Progressive Care Center. Marianne was born on October 27, 1917 in the Town of Sheboygan Falls, daughter of Alfred and Margaret (Giese) Loertz. On September 26, 1945 she married Harry F. Schroeder at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. Harry preceded her in death on August 1, 1978. She and her husband owned and operated a farm in the Town of Sheboygan Falls for many years. Marianne was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. She enjoyed gardening and growing gladiolas. Marianne is survived by cousins. Marianne was preceded in death by her husband, Harry and one sister, Violet Loertz and a young brother. Funeral services will be held at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 10:00 am with the Rev. Elizabeth Jaeger officiating. Burial will take place in St. Lucas Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls. Relatives and friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Thursday from 9:00 am until the time of the service. A memorial fund has been established in Marianne's name for St. Luke Lutheran Church.
