Mariann A. (Wisse) Lammers, 88, passed to Eternal life on November 2, 2022.

Mariann was born to earthly life on June 11th, 1934, to George and Kathryn (Roelse) Wisse in Plymouth Wisconsin. She attended Cedar Grove South side grade school and graduated from Cedar Grove High School. She was a member of the First Reformed Church of Cedar Grove.

On October 30,1953 Mariann married LaMont Lammers, they restored an old historic home at 913 South Main Street in Cedar Grove and lived there 62 years.

Mariann attended LTC and became a Licensed Practical Nurse, she was employed at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital for 19 years and at Sunny Ridge Nursing home for 10 years. She also did private care nursing and later worked at Aurora VNA giving immunization shots.

Mariann showed the Lord’s love in her work as a kind and compassionate, caring nurse. She freely gave of her time for church and community events. Mariann served on the Cedar Grove Het Museum and Te Ronde House boards. Pine Haven Women’s auxiliary, Calvary OPC mission board, Pine Tree Quilting group and volunteered with the Red Cross Blood Donor drives. Mariann enjoyed working outdoors in her perennial flower gardens. She and LaMont hosted Victorian Tea parties at their home, with the ladies chauffeured in a Model T car by LaMont.

Mariann is survived by a daughter, Jan Urban, sons Karl (Lynette) Lammers and Mark (Barbara) Lammers. Eight grandchildren, Seth, Hannah, Samuel Urban; Joshua, Aaron, Jacob, Abigail, Isaac Lammers. Five Great Grandchildren, Evelyn, Kaylana, Mathias Lammers; Dane, Luke Urban.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Wisse, Kathryn (Roelse) Wisse, husband LaMont, by sister Priscilla, brother Eugene, brother-in-law Norman and sister- in- law Clara Lammers, brother-in- law Bill Vrubley and sister- in- law Judith Vrubley.     

A funeral to celebrate Mariann’s life will take place at the First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 12:00. Burial will take place at Presbyterian Cemetery in the Town of Holland.

Relatives and friends may greet the family at church on Saturday from 11:00 am until the time of the service.

A memorial fund is being established in her memory for Campus Life.
