Margaret Wierman

Margaret M. Wierman, 95, formerly of Sheboygan Falls, went to her heavenly home while surrounded by her family on Friday, March 18, 2011 while at Morningside Health Center where she had resided for the past eleven years. Margaret was born on January 23, 1916, near Ringle in the Town of Easton in Adams County, the daughter of the late Paul and Ida (Goetz) Marten. Margaret worked as a housekeeper and caregiver to numerous families in Adell, Plymouth and Milwaukee prior to her marriage on August 21, 1937 to Gerald A. Wierman of Waldo. She moved to Sheboygan in 1970 and was employed by St. Nicholas Hospital as a housekeeper until her retirement, when she moved to Sheboygan Falls. Margaret was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. Margaret is survived by two daughters, Louise Steuerwald of Sheboygan and Marilyn (Robert) Schneider of Sheboygan Falls; a son, John (Faith) Wierman of Sheboygan ; 11 grandchildren, Christine (David) Limperes, Kim (Mark) Bocher, Kelly (Daniel) Kane, Nannette Steuerwald, Robin (Rob) Goff, Todd (Cheryl) Schneider, Brad (Heidi) Schneider, Brek Schneider, Scott (Elisa) Wierman, Nicholas (Doreen) Wierman and Denice Doying; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; a son-in-law, Jerome Steuerwald; three brothers, Lester (Eva) Marten, Clarence (Cora) Marten, and Herbert (Alice) Marten; and one sister, Evelyn (William) Taylor. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 5 pm with the Rev. Mark Janzen officiating. Burial will take place at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 4-5 pm. A memorial fund has been established in Margaret's name.
