Margaret Rammer

Margaret Mary Rammer, 86, of Sheboygan, WI, formerly of Kohler, WI, passed away peacefully, January 24, 2014, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. Margaret was born on July 13, 1927, in Hartford, WI, to Ferdinand and Clara (Hertel) Wolf. She graduated from Hartford High School in 1945. Margaret continued her education and was a graduate of St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing in 1948. She worked for the Blood Center of Milwaukee, St. Nicholas Hospital, and Kohler Company for many years. In 1954, she married Jack Rammer, the love of her life. They were happily married until his death in 1989. Margaret had been a Girl Scout leader, she was involved with the US Cadet Nurse Corp, as well as a Eucharistic minister at St. Nicholas Hospital. She enjoyed playing bridge, cooking, sewing, quilting, gardening, and traveling. Margaret will be deeply missed. Margaret is survived by her dear friends and preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 35 years, Jack. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 4:30 pm on Friday, January 31, 2014, at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church in Kohler, WI, with Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 4:00 until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Margaret's name for the American Cancer Society.
