Margaret O'Halloran-Schappe

Margaret "Margo" M. O'Halloran-Schappe, 52, of Oostburg, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 19, 2017. Margo was born on October 18, 1964 to Thomas and Elaine (Klavitter) O'Halloran in Milwaukee. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. On July 31, 1992, she married her best friend, Gregory Schappe in Waukesha. Margo enjoyed playing guitar, watching sports, bicycling and all things animals. She was known for her great sense of humor and love she gave to so many. She was fun, caring, and a wonderful wife. Margo is survived by her husband Greg of Oostburg; her parents, Thomas & Elaine O'Halloran of Phelps, WI; one sister, Coleen O'Halloran of Milwaukee; one brother Patrick O'Halloran of Brookfield; her mother-in-law, Virginia Schappe of Madison; two brothers-in-law Gary (Julie) Schappe of Pewaukee and Scott Schappe of Rumely, MI; two sisters-in-law, Kim (Pat) McBride of Madison and Lori Schappe of Johannesburg, South Africa; one niece-in-law, Gabriel McBride; two nephews-in-law Sean McBride and Devon Schappe, other relatives and friends, and her loving pets Chief, Reagan, Winston, and Thatcher. Margo was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Norbert Schappe. A memorial mass to celebrate Margo's life will take place at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at 2pm. Family and friends will gather for a time of visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 1pm until the time of service at 2pm. A memorial fund is being established in her name for the Sheboygan County Humane Society. The staff of the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg (920-564-2771) is serving Margo's family.
