Margaret Kronforst

Margaret Elizabeth (Dees) Kronforst, 90, of Cedar Grove Gardens, died on Monday September 16, 2013 at the Cedar Grove Gardens. She was born October 17, 1922 in Cedar Grove, the daughter of the late Peter and Naomi (DeSmidt) Dees. Margaret graduated high school from Wisconsin Memorial Academy in 1940, where she was valedictorian. She married Anton Kronforst on August 16, 1950 in Lake Church. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1986. Margaret was a member of Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Cedar Grove. She enjoyed trapshooting, fishing, sewing, knitting, crocheting, cooking, reading and doing crossword puzzles. Survivors include one step son, Robert (Jan) Kronforst of Grafton; one step daughter, Virginia Wilson of Tucson, AZ; 8 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ann Walber of MN; and a dear friend, Kris Hildebrand of Cedar Grove. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Carl (Delores) Dees and one brother in law, Eugene Walber. Funeral services to celebrate Margaret's life will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 6pm at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg, with the Rev. Ronald Beabout officiating. Burial will be Friday morning at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 4pm until the time of service.
