Margaret Betsy Humphrey Margaret B. Humphrey, 88, of 705 Buffalo Street, Sheboygan Falls died peacefully on Wednesday afternoon, November 1, 2006 at St. Nicholas Hospital where she had been a patient for the past week. Margaret was born on July 18, 1918 in Sheboygan Falls, the daughter of the late Leonard Z. and Bertha (Fahl) Holden. Margaret attended Holden School and Sheboygan Falls High School. On June 25, 1938 she married Donald Humphrey in Sheboygan Falls. They observed their 68th wedding anniversary this past year. Margaret was a lifelong and active member at Falls Community Church in Sheboygan Falls where she served as custodian for many years with her husband, Donald. Margaret was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, canning, baking, cleaning her home, traveling with her husband, and playing cards with her friends. She is survived by her husband, Donald; two daughters, Betty (Curt) Weinaug of Appleton, Jean (David) Veldman of Plymouth; one son, Allen (Kay) Humphrey of Sheboygan Falls; eleven grandchildren, Paul (Cindi) Weinaug, David Weinaug, Todd (Andra) Humphrey, Brian (Shelly) Humphrey, Mike (Stacy) Humphrey, Cheryl (Tom) Riemer, Jennie Humphrey, Kevin (Jennifer) Humphrey, Jesse (Amy) Veldman, Neil (Amie) Veldman, Cory (Alisha) Veldman ; and 24 great grandchildren. She is also survived by nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her sister, Harriet Kornetzke, one brother, Leonard Holden, and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at 1 pm at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls with the Rev. Marty Carney officiating. Burial will follow at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Saturday from 10 am until the time of service.
