Margaret Heinen

January 29, 1925 — September 4, 2014

Margaret A. Heinen, 89, of Oostburg, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2014, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Margaret was born on January 29, 1925, in Augusta, GA, daughter of Thomas and Julia (DeSmith) Timmons. She attended Cedar Grove High School. On December 3, 1943, Margaret married Earl H. Heinen in Cedar Grove. Earl passed away on July 26, 2003. Margaret was a member of Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Cedar Grove. She was employed with Musebeck Shoe Factory and the Cedar Grove Bakery. Margaret enjoyed baking, reading, watching the Packers, and going on bus trips with her husband Earl. Margaret is survived by her two daughters, Caroline Heinen of Plymouth and Sue (Gary) Gasper of Sheboygan Falls; one grandson, Zachary Gasper; two step-grandchildren, Katherine (Luke) Binversie and Gregory Gasper; two step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Arentsen of Greendale; and one sister-in-law, Evelyn (Allen) DeBlaey of Random Lake. She was further survived by nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Earl, her grandson, Brandon Gasper, her sister, Mildred Kruis and an infant sister, and two brothers-in-law, Howard Arensten and Herman Kruis. A memorial service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 11, 2014, at Calvary OPC in Cedar Grove with Pastor Willie Gesch officiating. Inurnment will take place at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9:30 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am. A memorial fund has been established in Margaret's name for Calvary OPC youth group. For online condolences and additional information please visit www.wenigfuneralhome.com.
