Marcus Finke

Marcus Finke, 31, of 1412 Meadow Lane, Apt E, Oostburg, died on Thursday morning, June 26, 2008 at St. Nicholas Hospital following an illness of cancer since November. Marcus was born in Germany on February 21, 1977, the son of John Mayer, Reinhold and Erika (Reiser) Finke. Marcus served in the German Armed Forces and the NATO Forces for over ten years. He received his master degree in electrical engineering in Germany. On October 3, 2006 Marcus married Amber Hess in Fond du Lac. Marcus had worked at Times Printing in Random Lake until his illness forced him to retire. Marcus enjoyed building electrical things, video games, fishing, soccer and traveling. Marcus is survived by his wife, Amber Hess; two sons, Landon and Wyatt Finke, both at home; a step daughter, Acacia Hess of Campbellsport; his parents, John Mayer, Reinhold and Erika Finke; a sister, Nicole (Andre) Lehner; a step sister, Manuela Claudio, all of Germany; and his mother-in-law, Darla Jankoski of Campbellsport. Funeral services will be held at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg at 5 pm on Monday, June 30, 2008. Burial will take place in Germany Friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Monday from 4 pm until the time of the service at 5 pm. A memorial fund is being established in his name.
