Lynn Carpenter

Lynn L. Carpenter, 66, of Sheboygan, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013, at his home. Lynn was born on October 25, 1946, in Sheboygan, son of Dale A. and Pearl (Warner) Carpenter. He was a 1964 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. Lynn served in the US Army from 1967-1972. On March 18, 1974, he married Suzanne Schaller in Sheboygan. Lynn was employed as a bartender at Dale's Bar for 22 years until his retirement in 1994. Lynn was an avid Packer and NASCAR fan. He enjoyed attending the Indy 500 and was active in numerous bowling and pool leagues. Lynn is survived by his two sons, Shannon (Jessica) Carpenter and their two children, Evan and Cayden of Sheboygan Falls and Shawn (Amy) Carpenter and their two children Mason and Paige of Sheboygan; two sisters, Marilyn Nelson of California and Harriett Klister of Sheboygan; and one sister-in-law, Shirley Carpenter of Sheboygan Falls. Lynn is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Sharon (Edward) Lensmire, one brother, Keith Carpenter, and two brothers-in-laws, William Nelson and Iggy Klister. Relatives and friends may greet the family from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 9, 2013, at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls followed by military honors.
