Luella M. (Pennell) Buechler, 89, of rural Sheboygan Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 1, 2012, at St. Nicholas Hospital shortly after being admitted. Luella was born on August 8, 1922, in Plymouth, daughter of Wade and Mamie (Pfrang) Pennell. Luella was the granddaughter of Milton and Mary Pennell and Richard and Jeanette (Fischer) Pfrang. Luella attended John School in rural Plymouth and Sheboygan Falls High School. Following high school Luella worked as a nanny and housekeeper for the family of Judge Schlichting in Sheboygan Falls and numerous other families, as far away as Barrington, Illinois. While there, she was a member of the Christian Mothers Society, and was a church picnic booth chairman for many years. She was a member of the Six Corners Ladies Club. Her faith and attending Mass regularly were very important to Luella. Lulu enjoyed dancing and old time polka and waltz music, gardening, canning, cooking, baking, traveling, and writing in her daily diary. Luella raised chickens and sold eggs to many customers over the years. She was proud of her heritage and enjoyed genealogy. Luella is survived by two daughters, Rita (Thomas) Dickfoss of Plymouth and Rosalie (David) Klingbeil of Sheboygan; four sons, Daniel (Joyce) Buechler of Fredonia, David Buechler of Sheboygan Falls, Donald (Patricia) Buechler of Port Washington, and John Buechler of San Jose, CA; eleven grandchildren, Patrick (Megan) Buechler, Jennifer Buechler, Mark (Kim) Buechler, Michael (Kim) Buechler, Chad (Felicia) Dickfoss, Wade Dickfoss, Joseph, Andrew, and Adeline Buechler, and Carl and Ashley Klingbeil; two great-grandchildren, Brandon and Ethan Dickfoss; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Buechler of Sheboygan and Bernice Pennell of Plymouth; and one brother-in-law, Edmund Ott of Florida.
