Lorraine Ramminger

Lorraine E. Ramminger, 86, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at St. Nicholas Hospital. She was preceded in death by her son Bruce on December 18, 2011. Lorraine was born on September 26, 1925 in Sheboygan, daughter of Joseph and Emma (Janke) Novak. On December 27, 1947 she married Oscar Ramminger at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. Oscar passed away on December 22, 1989. Lorraine was a secretary for St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls for 19 years until her retirement in 1996. Lorraine was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls, where she was active in the ladies auxiliary and senior's club. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Lorraine was involved with numerous dartball leagues and enjoyed bowling and knitting. Lorraine is survived by: one daughter, Donna Ramminger of Sheboygan Falls; two sons, Dennis Ramminger and Dannye Ramminger, both of Sheboygan Falls; one grandson Kevin (Tabitha) Ramminger of Melbourne, FL; one great-grandson Liam Ramminger; sister-in-law, Rosie (Sherman) Schnell of Kiel; and brother-in-law, Wally (Sylvia) Ramminger of Plymouth. Lorraine is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Lorraine was preceded in death by: her parents; husband Oscar; one son Bruce. Funeral services to celebrate Lorraine and Bruce's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls with the Rev. Donald Hasse officiating. Private interment will be in Sheboygan Falls Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday at 11:00 am until the time of service at 2:00 pm. A memorial fund has been established in Lorraine's name for St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Alzheimer's Association. Lorraine's family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at St. Nicholas Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion.
