Lorraine E. LeMahieu, 95, of Sheboygan, died Monday, February 25, 2013, at Terrace Estates where she had resided for 11 years. Lorraine was born on January 3, 1918, in Sheboygan, daughter of the late Leonard and Cora (Buschmann) Rammer. On October 31, 1936, she married Marvin LeMahieu in Sheboygan. In 1959 the family moved to the LeMahieu homestead in the Town of Lima where they farmed until Marvin's death in 1993. Lorraine also worked for many years as a waitress at The Villager in Sheboygan Falls. Lorraine was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls. She enjoyed playing bridge and was a member of several card clubs for many years. Lorraine also enjoyed singing, playing the piano, and traveling. Lorraine is survived by her seven children, Janet Glaub of Racine, Sandra (Thomas) Hering of Waukesha, Peter (Peggy) LeMahieu of Madison, Patrick (Eloise Anderson) LeMahieu of Marshall, Sheila LeMahieu-Ramsey of Sun Prairie, Terry LeMahieu of Delavan, and Marsha (Jeff) Hildebrand of Sheboygan. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, Mark (Sheri) Glaub, Bruce (Leah) Glaub, David (Tien) Glaub, Karen (Bruce) Schuyler, Brian (Wendy) Hering, Kristin (Peter) Miller, Mike Hering, Erica (Kris Stuckert) LeMahieu, Nolan Addison, Kenijean Addison, Nicholas Ramsey, Austin and Evan LeMahieu; nine great-grandchildren, six sisters-in-law, Delores Rammer, Lenore LeMahieu, Marian LeMahieu, Fern LeMahieu, Mildred Wagner, and Penny LeMahieu; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Lorraine is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Marvin; her parents; son-in-law, Wayne Glaub; one sister, Marion Schultz; and two brothers, Raymond and Vernon Rammer. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Lorraine's life will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Entombment will take place at Garden of Peace Mausoleum in the Town of Sheboygan on Monday. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of Mass at 11:30 am. A memorial fund has been established in Lorraine's name for Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. The family would like to thank the staff at Terrace Estates and the Sharon S.
