Lorraine Erbstoesser

Lorraine H. Erbstoesser, 86, formerly of Kohler, passed away on Monday, December 16, 2013, at Libby's House in Plymouth. Lorraine was born on January 15, 1927, in Sheboygan, daughter of Raymond and Mollie (Etzhorn) Trautschold. She was a 1945 graduate of Kohler High School. On October 16, 1948, she married Harvey E. Erbstoesser at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church in Kohler. Harvey passed away on August 4, 1999. Lorraine was employed with Wigwam Mills, H. C. Prange, and Younkers. Lorraine was a member of St. John Evangelist Catholic Church in Kohler, where she served on the St. Ann Altar Society and the Mission Society. She volunteered as a Girl Scout leader. Lorraine enjoyed bowling, cooking, baking, spending time at the cottage in Rhinelander, traveling, gardening, fishing, reading, needlework, crafts, collecting Hummels, and spending time with her family. Lorraine was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Lorraine is survived by her four children, Steven (Pim) Erbstoesser of Houston, TX, Jill Bandle of Fond du Lac, Bill (Lynn) Erbstoesser of Kohler, and Debbie (Kent) Bonde of Miami Shores, FL; eight grandchildren, Morgan and Marina Erbstoesser, Evelyn and Jessica Newnam, Stacy Jansen, Tracy (Tyler DeBauche) Bandle, and Paul and Craig Erbstoesser; one great-granddaughter, Lydia DeBauche; two sisters, Marion (Guenther) Hennig of Venice, FL and Ann (Wesley) Tomhave of Walton, NE. Lorraine is also survived by nieces and nephews. Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Harvey, her parents, and her sister, Ruth (Edwin) Lemp. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Lorraine's life will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, December 20, 2013, at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church in Kohler with Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Burial will take place at Woodland Cemetery in Kohler. Relatives and friends may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Thursday evening from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm and also at church on Friday from 9:00 am until the time of Mass at 10:00 am.
