Lori Ehr

Lori J. Ehr, 59, of Plymouth, passed away following an eight year battle with cancer on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at her home with her family at her side. Lori was born on June 17, 1957, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, daughter of Elwood and Betty (Plattner) Voigt. She was a 1975 graduate of Ozaukee High School and received her Bachelor's degree in education at Concordia University. Lori served in the US Navy from 1976-1980. On August 17, 1985, she married Gordon M. Ehr in Grafton. Lori was a member of Christian Life Assembly of God in Plymouth, where she was active in the Women's Bible study and was a Sunday school teacher. She was also active in the Lunch Buddy program. Lori enjoyed gardening, reading, music, collecting angels, and Bible study. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and her dog, Levi. Lori is survived by her husband of 31 years, Gordy, her three daughters, Lauren Ehr of Plymouth, Anna Ehr of Minneapolis, MN, and Ali Ehr of Plymouth; her three sons, Mike (Liz) Ehr of Port Angeles, Washington, Dave Ehr of Pompano Beach, Florida, and Zach (KJ) Ehr of Plymouth; two expected grandchildren on the way; her mother, Betty Voigt of Plymouth; her step-father-in-law, Norman Theune of Wabeno; her sister, Lynne (Bob) Pfister of Sheboygan Falls; her brother, Ron (Sharon) Voigt of Port Washington; and her sister-in-law, Cathie Higgins of Durango, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her father, Elwood "Woody" Voigt. A memorial service to celebrate Lori's life will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, November 14, 2016, at Christian Life Assembly of God in Plymouth with Rev. Richard York officiating. A visitation of family and friends will be held at the church from 4:00 pm until the time of the service at 7:00 pm. A memorial fund has been established in Lori's name for Christian Life Assembly of God.
