Linda Ternes

Linda A. Ternes, 59, of 2433 Mayflower Dr., Sheboygan, died at her home on Monday, December 29, 2008 with her husband at her side. She was born March 16, 1949 in Sheboygan, the daughter of Frederick and Delores (Gerk) Schultz Jr. Linda was a 1967 graduate of Sheboygan South High School. On October 17, 1970 she married Robert N. Ternes at St. George Catholic Church. Linda was employed at Miesfeld's Market in Customer Service until her retirement in 2007. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Sheboygan and a long time former member of St. George Catholic Church and its Christian Mothers. Linda enjoyed crafts, sewing, crocheting, and boating and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Robert; two daughters, Gwendolyn (Robert) Regan of Stoughton, Jennifer (Stephen) Kovacs of Sheboygan Falls; one son, Nicholas (Diane Ten Pas) Ternes of Oostburg; four grandchildren, Patrick and Melanie Regan, Jocelyn and Devin Kovacs and step-grandson, Shawn Kovacs; her parents, Frederick and Delores Schultz Jr.; one brother, Jeffery Schultz of Sheboygan; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, January 2, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Parish in Sheboygan with the Rev. Jim Connell, officiating. Linda will be cremated with inurnment at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the church, 8th and Huron Ave. on Friday, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in her name for the Kidney Cancer Association.
