Linda L. Brill, 63, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Thursday morning, April 24, 2014, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Linda would like to let you know that her work here is done. She received a call, a sort of offer you can't refuse, for an appointment from which she will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends who have already accepted the assignment. Linda was born on October 24, 1950, in Sheboygan, daughter of Glen and Ruth (Hamann) Lammers. She was a 1968 graduate of Oostburg High School. On April 19, 2008, she married Carl Berlin. Linda was employed as the medical records supervisor with the Marsho Medical Clinic for 30 years until her retirement in 2011. Linda's new mission takes her to a wonderful place where she will enjoy shopping and finding a deal, planting flowers, and watching her children and grandchildren. Food is delicious, dessert comes first, and blood sugar doesn't matter. She will have the opportunity to visit Jamaica, her favorite place on earth, whenever she wants. To Linda, Jamaica was "heaven on earth" and the place where she married Carl "Weiner" Berlin. Linda also enjoyed cribbage, collecting Precious Moments and Hummels, her cat and dog, Sophie and Max, yard work, babysitting her grandchildren, vacations, having her nails done, and jewelry. All of her family and friends wish her a safe journey and feel blessed to have had her in their lives. We will remember her smile, her warmth, her laugh, and her love for the family, friends, and colleagues and patients at Marsho Medical. Linda always had a hug to share and made a difference in the lives of many. Staying behind here on earth and waiting for the day they are called to join Linda are her husband and partner for over 20 years, Carl "Weiner" Berlin; her daughter, Jodi (friend Trevor) Berlin of Plymouth; her sons, Shannon (Cindy) Brill of Oostburg, Nathan Brill of Sheboygan Falls, Brian (Jamie) Berlin of Saukville, Jason (Andrea) Berlin of Sheboygan Falls; seven grandchildren, Maddie, Lizzie, and Jonathon Brill, Kloae and Kamryn Brill, Cooper and Riley Berlin; her sisters, Kaye (Fiancé Wayne Vorwerk) Lammers of Sheboygan and Gwen (Richard) Loehr of Glenbeulah, and nieces and nephews. Linda is also survived by special friends, Bev and Tom DePagter, Dawn and Randy Haese, and Diane and Chad Oppeneer. A visitation will be held at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Sunday, April 27, 2014, from 1:00 pm until 4:30 pm followed by a celebration of life at the Town & Country Club in Sheboygan from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Linda's name for the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
