Lester Schultz

Lester C. Schultz, 89, of Cedar Grove, died on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.Lester was born on December 28, 1928 in Saukville, WI, the son of the late Herbert and Mamie (Meyer) Schultz. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War from 1951 through 1953. On June 29, 1957, Lester married Carol Mae Gerner in Saukville. Lester was a member of the First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, and woodworking.He is survived by two daughters, Lorna (Steve) Winoske of Houston, TX and Lois (partner Joe Dunn) Schultz of Neenah; one son, Bryan (Terri) Schultz of Jericho, VT; three grandchildren, Kevin (Christine) Winoske, Hannah (fiancé Torsten Quinlan) Schultz and Derrek Schultz; one great grandson, Benjamin Winoske; and two brothers, Donald Schultz of West Bend, Earl (Helen) Schultz of Grass Valley, CA; one brother-in-law, Roger Geib of Port Washington; and one sister-in-law, Janet Badtke of Niles, MI. Lester is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol Schultz; three sisters, Mildred Wagner, Charlotte Esselmann, and Audrey Geibe; and one brother, Harold Schultz. A funeral to celebrate Lester's life will take place at the First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 1:00 pm with the Rev. Chris Schaefer officiating. A burial will follow at the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
