Lenore Mae Debbink, 92, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023, at Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center.
Lenore was born on October 26, 1930, to Ernest and Nellie (Hesselink) Debbink in the Town of Lima. She attended Ourtown School and went on to Sheboygan Falls High School. Lenore was employed as a nursing aid and later became a pharmacy technician at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital for 42 years.
She was a member of Gibbsville Church. Lenore enjoyed reading books, sudoku, and gardening. She was an avid Packers, and Milwaukee Braves fan and also enjoyed watching basketball. Over the years, she was blessed to have traveled with her sisters and friends to 48 of the states. Lenore always enjoyed their yearly Christmas family party at her and Ruth’s home and their trips to her sister’s home in Luck, WI. She especially loved spoiling all of the nieces and nephews.
Lenore is survived by her sisters, Ruth Debbink, Ann (Wayne) Stubbe; brother, David (Judy) Debbink; sister-in-law, Gladys Debbink. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Lenore was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Marian (Allan) DeBlaey, Wesley Debbink, Marvin (MaryAnn) Debbink, and Harold (Nancy) Debbink; nieces, Carol Jesinski, Joan Meves; nephews, Danny Richey, Arlen VanDyke; great-nephews, Dominick Debbink, Phillip Jesinski and Jeff Jesinski.
A funeral service to celebrate Lenore’s life will be held at Gibbsville Church on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 2:00pm. If unable to attend, all are welcome to join by visiting wenig.live/LenoreDebbink.
Relatives and friends may greet the family at church from 12:00pm until the time of service.
Memorials are appreciated in Lenore’s name to Gibbsville Church or Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
Lenore’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center, Rocky Knoll Rehab Center, and her sister, Ruth, for helping her to be able to stay home.
