Leland Lesperance

Leland F. Lesperance, 70, of Manitowoc, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. Leland was born on September 28, 1944, in Milwaukee, son of William and Sylvia (Jeanette) Lesperance. He attended Washington High School in Milwaukee. Leland served his country in the US Air Force. On August 3, 1966, he married Susan Ertz in North Carolina. Susan passed away on February 24, 2008. Leland was a self- employed furniture repairman. Leland was a supporter of St. Jude's Children's Hospital. He was avid duck hunter and member of Duck's Unlimited. Leland is survived by his two daughters, Dori Lee (Mike) Chase of Two Rivers and Vickilyn (Mike) Nenahlo of Whitelaw; his son, William Lesperance of Two Rivers; four grandchildren, Abigail Marie Lesperance, Alexandria and Logan Chase, and Jasmine Strohm; one sister, Lelani (Robert) Kaegi of Milwaukee; and one brother, Mark Lesperance of Two Rivers. Leland was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Susan, and his parents. Private family services will be held at a later date. A memorial fund has been established in Leland's name.
