Lavonne Debbink

Lavonne "Dolly" Jean Debbink, 90, of Cedar Grove, passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017, at Sheboygan Health Services.Lavonne J. Theune was born on October 12, 1927, in Town of Holland to Cornelius and Wilhemina (Jagerink) Theune. She was a graduate of Cedar Grove High School. On September 10, 1949, Lavonne married Roland Debbink in Town of Lima. Lavonne was employed at Sheboygan County Comprehensive Health Center for 23 years as a Psychiatric Attendant until her retirement in 1990.She was a charter member of Faith Reformed Church in Cedar Grove. She enjoyed music, cooking, baking, traveling, canning, poetry, and spending time with her family. She enjoyed using her musical gifts as a vocalist in various choir and vocal ensembles. She even recorded a record entitled "Let The Whole World Know" with the Faith Trio. Lavonne is survived by her two daughters, Linda (Robert) Hildebrand of Sheboygan Falls, Mary (Michael) Huenink of Cedar Grove; three sons, Gary (Jean) Debbink of Burlington, Jeffrey (Connie) Debbink of Cedar Grove, Daniel (Jody) Debbink of Cedar Grove; 23 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one sister, Grace (Richard) Harmelink of CA; two brothers, Rodney Theune of Holy Hills, FL, and Norman (Shirley) Theune of Wabeno, WI. Lavonne was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius and Wilhemina Theune; her loving husband of 53 years, Roland Debbink; five brothers, Jerome Theune, Kenneth (Dorothy) Theune, Willis (Neva) Theune, Stewart (Lyle) Theune, Roland (Faye) Theune; three sisters, Ethel Theune, Doris (Terry) Boyle, Hazel (Clarence Lemkuil, Lewis TenHaken); and a great-grandchild, Hope Debbink. A funeral service to celebrate Lavonne's life will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at 12pm at Faith Reformed Church in Cedar Grove with Rev. Ron Sanford officiating. A burial will take place at Hingham Cemetery in Hingham.Relatives and friends may greet the family at the church on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of service at 12:00 pm.
