Larry Keslin

Lorenz “Larry” Keslin, 84, of Howards Grove, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

Larry was born on July 24, 1938, son of Albert and Emma Keslin.  Larry served his country in the US Army.  He worked as a heating and air conditioning mechanic for Ted Kuck, Rohde Bros., Honold, Aldag, Jim Kolar Sheet Metal, Harbridge, and HVAC in Howards Grove, retiring in 2001.  On April 30, 1993, he married Sandy Rosenthal Eckhardt, they were married for 30 years.

Larry was a skilled handyman, there wasn’t anything he couldn’t do or repair.  Every year he worked on chopping and cutting wood for the fireplace, keeping his family warm for the winter.  He will be remembered for his talent and persistence. He truly felt best when he was busy.  

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Sandy Keslin of Howards Grove; daughter, Lisa (Travis Tanaka) Keslin of Salinas, CA, and son, Scot Keslin of Cleveland, WI; granddaughter, Mackenzie Keslin; stepdaughter, Rebecca Eckhardt; niece and nephew, Lorenz Keslin and Emma Martin, and special friend, Mark Vollbrecht.

Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Willard (Norma) Keslin.

Funeral services to celebrate Larry’s life will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls at 1:00 pm.  Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home from 10:30 until the time of service at 1:00 pm.  Burial and military honors will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park in the Town of Sheboygan following the funeral service.
