Larry Jolitz

Lawrence “Larry” W. Jolitz, 72, of Gibbsville, passed away on March 27, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay with his family by his side.

Larry was born on February 19, 1951, to Kenneth and Jeanne (Luedke) Jolitz. He was a graduate of Oak Creek High School. Larry was a proud US Veteran, serving his country for over 6 years in the Army during the Vietnam War while being stationed in Hawaii and overseas in Germany.

Larry was a proud over the road truck driver. He loved the open road and worked for various companies over his career.

Larry loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed camping, motorcycling, traveling, water skiing, fishing, model trains, supporting the Green Bay Packers, and above all, spending time with his family.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Linda Jolitz; children, Kathy (Mike) Boushley, Misty Jolitz, Chris (Karen Mittmann) Jolitz, Nicholas (Kristi) Jolitz, Kelly (William Pfeifer) Jolitz; Grandchildren: Zachary, Savannah, James Darren, Taylor, James Douglas, Lacy, Mathew, Markus (Jaileen), Jennifer, Edward, Brook; mother, Jeanne Jolitz; siblings, Margaret Jolitz, Mary (Dean) Barker, Donna Jolitz; and sister-in-law, Carol Jolitz. Larry is further survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Jolitz; and two grandchildren, Brandon, Kaylie; brother, Daniel (Susan) Jolitz.

A visitation gathering will take place at the Wenig Funeral Home of Oostburg on Friday April 7^th at 1:00 pm until military honors beginning at 2:00 pm.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staffs of Oostburg Ambulance and First Responders, St. Nicholas Hospital, and St. Vincent Hospital for their kind and compassionate care.
