Kenneth Ryan

Kenneth J. Ryan, 77, of 3643 Lannon Road, Sheboygan, died at his home on Sunday, May 3, 2009. He was born November 20, 1931 in Menomonee, Michigan, the son of the late Paul and Pearl Ryan. He was a graduate of Menomonee High School and attended two years at Layton School of Art. Kenneth served in the US Navy. Kenneth married Eleanor Guttman in Milwaukee. He was a graphic artist for over ten years at Pablocki & Sons in Milwaukee and had a Calligraphy business out of his home in Milwaukee for ten years. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, painting, woodworking, yard work, traveling, and watching football, especially Michigan. Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl (Larry) Lynch of Portage; a son, Patrick Ryan of Sheboygan Falls; five grandchildren, Scott Ryan Burnstad, Erick Ryan Burnstad, Justin P. Ryan, Ian James Ryan, Errin (Chad) Vivian; eight great grandchildren; sisters, Kathleen (Dwight) Peterson of North Carolina, Judy (Darrell) Ethington of Marinette; Virginia Lauzon of North Carolina, Joan Boettcher of Green Bay and Jean Krause of Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Roland (Joan) Ryan. A Memorial Gathering will take place at Patrick's house, 619 Hickory St., Sheboygan Falls on Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 3-6 p.m. Online condolences may be sent to www.wenigfuneralhome.com.
