Keith W. TenHaken, 69, of 503 South Water Street, Sheboygan, died on Monday evening, December 31, 2007 at his residence. Keith was born on September 20, 1938, in Sheboygan, the son of the late Ervin and Pearl (Dulmes) TenHaken. Keith graduated from Oostburg High School in 1956. On May 29, 1959, he married the former Mary Lensink in Oostburg. Keith was owner of TenHaken Roofing and Siding from 1958 until January 1995 when he had a major stroke. At that time the siding operation was taken over by his son, Brian. Keith was a lifelong member of the Gibbsville Reformed Church, where he served as a Bible Class teacher and an usher. He was a Webelos leader for the Boy Scouts in the Gibbsville area. Keith was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Assoc. and the North American Hunting Club, and a sponsoring member of the Ducks Unlimited. He was an avid hunter and sportsman, wildlife art dealer and collector, and was a devoted fan of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. He is survived by his wife, Mary; two sons, Doug (Debbie) TenHaken, and Brian (Sandy) TenHaken, both of Oostburg; five grandchildren, Matthew TenHaken, Ashley (Zac) Freriks, Rebecca and Jessica McCabe, and Megan TenHaken; two brothers, Richard (Marilyn) Ten Haken of Oostburg, and Rev. Larry (Faye) TenHaken of Minocqua. Funeral services will be held at the Gibbsville Reformed Church at 11 am on Friday, January 4, 2008 with the Rev. Gerald A. Dykstra officiating. Private family burial will take place at the Union Cemetery in the Town of Holland on Friday morning prior to the service. Friends may greet the family at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg on Thursday from 4-8 pm; and on Friday morning, at church, from 10:30 am until the time of service.
