Keith Ivan Heuver, 86, of Oostburg, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
Keith was born on September 21, 1937, to Elmer and Bernice (VanderLaan) Heuver in Plymouth. He graduated from Cedar Grove High School. Following graduation, Keith served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. On June 6, 1959, Keith was united in marriage to Everdeen TenPas at First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove. Keith worked at Bolens in Port Washington for many years before farming.
Keith was a member of Calvary OPC in Cedar Grove, where he served as an elder, trustee, deacon over the years. He enjoyed farming and model railroading.
Keith is survived by his son, Tom Heuver; three grandchildren, Katie (Jason) Korth, Christopher (Jen) and Evan (Amanda) Klueger; son-in-law, Mark Klueger; sister, Julaine (Larry) Bayer; brother, Daniel “Kelly” (Nancy) Heuver; sister-in-law, Linda (Roy) Huibregtse; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Keith was preceded in death by his wife, Everdeen; daughter, Susan Klueger; parents; and parents-in-law, Lester and Elizabeth TenPas.
A funeral service to celebrate Keith’s life will be held at Calvary OPC in Cedar Grove on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 11:00am. Military honors will take place following the service. He will be laid to rest at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may greet the family at church from 9:00am until the time of service.
Memorials are appreciated in Keith’s name to Calvary OPC or Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
