Katherine Hirstein

Katherine E. Hirstein, 89, of Cedar Grove and formerly of West Bend, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Katherine was born on November 26, 1921 in West Bend, the daughter of Nicholas and Spohie (Weiland) Mueller. She attended West Bend High School. On August 3, 1940 Katherine married Philip Hirstein in West Bend. Philip preceded her in death on December 29, 1983. Katherine is survived by two daughters, Judith Burns of Cedar Grove and Sandra (Donnel) Hanson of Mishicot; seven grandchildren, Christine Bonebrake, Deanna (Dennis) Sheffield, Lisa (Ronald) Radloff, Michael (Jody) McGrew, Mark McGrew, Lynn (Ryan) Johnson, and Philip (Michelle) Burns; 11 great-grandchildren, Tony Russo, Emily and Katie Radloff, Steven and Abby McGrew, Brandon, Brock, and Amber Bonebrake, Pamela Sheffield, Sara and Chloe Burns. Katherine is also survived by other relatives and friends. Katherine was preceded in death by her husband, Philip, her parents, two brothers, one sister and her son-in-law, Robert Burns. Graveside services will be at 10:30 am on Friday, July 29, 2011 at Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend with Rev. David Van Dixhorn presiding.
