Karen Rammer, 66, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2013, at Froedtert Memorial Hospital in Wawatosa. Karen was born on August 13, 1946, in Sheboygan, the daughter of the late Arno and Marjorie (Schulz) Luedtke. She attended Parnell Grade School and graduated from Kewaskum Community High School. On March 12, 1966, she married Barry Rammer at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Cascade, WI. They were married 30 years. They lived, and raised their sons in Sheboygan Falls. Karen was employed at Lakeland Mfg. Co. from 1978-84, and in the office at Bemis Mfg. Co. for 30 years. Karen was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. During the child raising years, she taught Sunday school, Release Time Weekly classes, and Vacation Bible School. She continued as a volunteer in the church nursery and altar guild. Karen was a past-president of the Thirsty Nite Women's Bowling League and the Sunday Nite Couples League at Sopotto's and Galaxy Bowling Lanes in Sheboygan Falls. She was a member of the board of directors of Meadowland Credit Union for many years and served as a volunteer for many committees. She was also a member of the IMPA Management Board of Directors, the Red Hat Ladies, and the Women's Business Association. Karen enjoyed walking, dancing, golfing, and reading. Karen is survived by two sons, Brad Rammer of Elk River, MN and Brek Rammer of Dallas, TX; four grandchildren, Brock, Ethan, Spencer, and Zoe Rammer; her very special friend, John Schmitz of Sheboygan; one sister, Kay (Jim) Muench of Batavia; one brother, Rodney (Kalee) Krahn of Batavia; and step-father, Gaylord "PeeWee" Krahn of Beechwood. Karen is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Karen was preceded in death by her father, Arno Luedtke, her mother, Marjorie (Luedtke) Krahn, and one brother, Lance Luedtke. Funeral services to celebrate Karen's life will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, August 9, 2013, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Tom Gudmundson officiating. Burial will take place at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Cascade. Relatives and friends may call at the church from 2:00 pm until the time of the service at 7:00 pm. A memorial fund has been established in Karen's name for St. Paul Lutheran Church.
