June Roehl

June L. Roehl, 85, of Sheboygan Falls, died Friday afternoon, June 27, 2008 at Sunny Ridge Nursing Home where she had resided for the past year. June was born on September 7, 1922 in Sheboygan Falls, the daughter of the late Peter and Emma (Mertz) Jesky. She graduated form Sheboygan Falls High School in 1940. She married the late Robert Turner in Dubuque Iowa in 1941. He preceded her in death on October 12, 1949. On January 12, 1952 June married the late Arthur Roehl in Sheboygan Falls. He preceded her in death on June 29, 1999. June had worked at K-Mart in Sheboygan for several years. June was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls and enjoyed playing cards, bowling, crocheting, and crafts. She is survived by one daughter, Cindy (Don) Mathes of Sheboygan; two sons, Jeff Roehl of Sheboygan and David (Kathy) Turner of Palmdale, California; two grandchildren, Toni Roehl of Sheboygan and Robert (Theresa) Turner of Lancaster, California; two step grandchildren, Shawn (Monica) Mathes and Chad (Abby) Mathes; five step great grandchildren; and one sister, June Kummer of Sheboygan. June was preceded in death by her parents, first and second husband, and a brother-in-law, Frank Kummer. A Memorial Mass will be held at Blessed Trinity Parish on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at 5:00 pm. with the Rev. Bob Lotz, officiating. Entombment will take place at the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum in the Town of Sheboygan. Friends may call at the church on Thursday, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
