Angels descended from Heaven to take our beloved Judith Gene (Richardson / Meyer) Ramminger home to Christ her Lord, and to join her father, John Glenn Richardson. She died unexpectedly and painlessly from a subarrachoid hemorrhage on September 30, 2009 in her home at 3506 South 9th Street in Sheboygan. She wished to be a body donor which helped three other lives. Judith was born in Chicago, IL, on March 10, 1943, to John and Vallie Mae (Ramaker) Richardson. She graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1961, and married Robert D. Meyer on December 2, 1961. She is survived by him, their two daughters, Shahara Falk-LeFay of Athens, WI and Sandra Denise Meyer of Sheboygan, and 5 grandchildren, Erika Meyer, Jave Jhyjelf, Andreas Meyer, Willow Falk-LeFay and Tristin Falk-LeFay. She is survived by her mother, Vallie Mae, of Sheboygan. and two brothers, Jack (Paulette) Richardson and Gary (Janice) Richardson, of Sheboygan Falls. She is further survived by many of the 'Meyer' family, and so enjoyed the family reunion last month. She'd often worked at Johnny's Supper Club while raising her family, then worked as an Executive Secretary at Robert W. Baird for many years. On June 4, 1988, she married Leonard Ramminger. They ran a small business, 'Unique Gifts and Antiques' on Penn Ave. She is survived by him, two step-daughters, and four step-grandchildren. After a small stroke, she retired and they moved to Wakefield, MI, where she would from then on proudly proclaim herself a 'Yooper'. A few years ago she moved back to Sheboygan to be closer to her family. Judy was a member of many churches during her life depending on her location; Faith Methodist Church in Sheboygan Falls, United Church of Christ and Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan, and All Saints Lutheran Church in Wakefield, MI. She loved Girl Scouting, was a leader in Town of Wilson for over two decades, and still kept in contact with other leaders and her scouts. She loved the Town of Wilson and was active in many civic activities. She was involved with 4-H. She was an avid volunteer and past PTA president at Jackson Elementary School. She was a past president of the Juniper Garden Club in Black River and kept a lovely garden wherever she lived, as well as a bird sanctuary. She loved dancing at the old 'Klarish House' and wherever rock 'n roll would play. In her later years, she loved the computer, keeping in touch with friends and family, playing Pogo, sending unending freebies to her family, enjoying her grandchildren, and an ever-growing love for God. A private service will take place at Wenig Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 6. Condolences can be sent to ... and will be forwarded to the family. She will forever be loved and missed by many. This winter, fall softly, snow.Service:Private Family Memorial Service
