Judith Boone

Judith J. Boone, 75, of N2050 Wittwood Road, Oostburg died unexpectedly at her home on Monday, July 20, 2009. Judy was born on March 26, 1934 in Sheboygan, the daughter of the late August and Ida (Mueller) Voltz. She graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1953. On August 28, 1954 she married the late Roland Wilterdink in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death on October 19, 1973. She married the late Daniel Boone on February 19, 1977. He preceded her in death on March 9, 2008. Judy was a member of Gibbsville Reformed Church and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit # 9156 in Sheboygan. Judy enjoyed bowling, knitting, yardwork and watching the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy (Frank) Johnson of Oostburg; a son, Steven (Linda) Wilterdink of Sheboygan Falls; four grandchildren, Jason Wilterdink, Jeremy (Jocelyn) Wilterdink, Derek (friend Amanda) Wilterdink and Kacy (Andy) Canton; two step grandchildren, Eric (Sara) Johnson and Rachel Johnson; six great grandchildren; one brother, Donald (Margaret) Voltz of Las Vegas, NV; one sister-in-law, Connie Voltz of Minnesota. Judy was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, Roland Wilterdink and Daniel Boone; one son, John Wilterdink; and one brother, Robert Voltz. A memorial service will be held at the Gibbsville Reformed Church on Monday, July 27, 2009 at 7 pm with the Rev. Al Vander Meer officiating. Burial will take place at Sunrise Memorial Garden in the Town of Wilson. Friends may greet the family at church on Monday from 5 pm until the time of the service at 7 pm.
