Joyce (Leon) Billmann, 85, of Sheboygan Falls passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Sunny Ridge Health and Rehab in Sheboygan. Joyce was born on April 28, 1929 in Sheboygan Falls to Herman and Amanda (Sabel) Leon. She attended Sheboygan Falls High School. On September 3, 1949 she married Gordon Billmann in Sheboygan Falls. Joyce was a member of Blessed Trinity in Sheboygan Falls, where she was active in the women's guild. Joyce was a charter member of the ladies auxiliary local 833 and a member of the 600 bowling club. She was Sheboygan County bowling champ for the 61-62 and 62-63 seasons. Joyce was a tv fanatic, she especially enjoyed her game shows. Joyce was an excellent cook and baker, she enjoyed camping, gardening, bowling, attending her kids and grandchildren's activities, especially softball games that her husband and kids played in. Joyce is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gordon; one daughter, Denise (David) Scherbarth of Milwaukee; four sons, David "Weed" (Linda) Billmann of Sheboygan, Doug (Barbara) Billmann of Sheboygan Falls, Dale (Karen) Billmann of Sheboygan and Dan "Bear" (Lori) Billmann of Oostburg; nine grandchildren, Brian Billmann, Brenda (Mike) Swann, Derek (Special friend, Tawny) Billmann, Kayla Billmann, Nicole Billmann, Shawn Billmann, Scott Billmann, Amanda Scherbarth and Samantha Scherbarth; one great-granddaughter, Lauren Swann; one sister, Pat Morris of DePere; two sisters-in-law, Delores Leon and Delores "Dodie" Leon both of Plymouth. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and her faithful companion, Jiggs. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her father and mother-in-law, Louis and Agnes Billmann, four brothers, LeRoy, Francis, Chuck and Lawerence Leon; sisters and brothers-in-law, Janet Leon, Ginny and Gordon Rammer, Robert and Diane Billmann, Lloyd Morris and nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Joyce's life will be on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 6pm at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Richard Cerpich officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Blessed Trinity from 3pm until the time of mass at 6pm. A memorial fund in Joyce's name is being established. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Haller and Dr. Marsho and their staffs and the staff of Sunny Ridge for all of their care and compassion given to Joyce.
