Josephine Boswein

Josephine Marie Boswein, 90, of Sheboygan entered into eternal life on Friday, July 11, 2014 at Harmony Assisted Living. Josephine was born on June 3, 1924 in Vulcan, MI to Jacob and Francis (Jakubinski) Mikolajczyk. She graduated Norway High School in 1942. In September of 1943 she married Joseph Boswein in Milwaukee, WI. He preceded her in death in 1988. Josephine worked for Allis Chalmers in West Allis. Josephine was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She served on the PTA, Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts. She enjoyed baking, bowling, knitting, crocheting, gardening and traveling. Josephine is survived by one daughter, Carol Coblentz of Wauwatosa; two sons, Russell Boswein of Milwaukee and Doug (Monika) Boswein of Gibbsville; six grandchildren, Deanna (Jean) Raymond, Jeff Coblentz, Steven Boswein, Scott Boswein, Catherine McDonnell and Rebekah Boswein; one great grandson, Joel; one sister, Mary Spangenberg of Milwaukee; one sister-in-law, Betty Boswein of Jackson; a daughter-in-law, Laurie Boswein of Texas. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph of 44 years; 11 brothers and sisters, Julia, Sophie, Vicki, Helen, Catherine, Paul, John, Joe, Andy, Michael and Tony. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 6:30pm at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Milwaukee. Relatives and friends may greet the family at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3:30pm until the time of service at 6:30. A memorial fund has been established in Josephine's name.
