Jola Schwinn

Jola Ann Schwinn, 83, of Sheboygan Falls and formerly of Kohler, passed away on Friday morning, March 7, 2014, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Jola was born on September 19, 1930, in the Town of Rhine, daughter of Elmer and Norma (Mayer) Anhalt. She was a 1948 graduate of Kiel High School. On May 20, 1950, she married John Kolb. On November 15, 1975, she married Gerald Schwinn in Sheboygan. Gerald passed away on April 11, 2006. Jola was employed with Acuity Insurance for 19 years until her retirement in 1993. Jola was a member of Grace UCC in Kohler. She enjoyed bowling, senior dartball, gardening, flowers, reading, puzzles, and golf. Jola is survived by her daughter, Lorilee Isom of Spartanburg, SC; her two sons, Steven (Alice) Kolb of DePere and Michael Kolb of Cleveland; seven grandchildren, John Michael Isom, Nicholas Isom, Sara (Adam) Janssen, Rachel and Matt (Sarah) Kolb, Adam and Jordan Kolb; two great-grandchildren, Hailey and Connor Janssen. She is also survived by Marcia Kolb of Kiel and Ann Schwinn of Madison; two sisters-in-law, Rosemary Bushmann of Sheboygan and Arlene (Terry) Held of Kiel; five brothers-in-law, Martin (Elaine) Lefeber of Malone, Charles (Marie) Schwinn of Howards Grove, James (Julie) Schwinn of Sheboygan, Leonard Schwinn of Howards Grove, and Charles (Ruth Ann) Kolb of Sheboygan; two step-daughters, Ramona (Larry) Ramey of Cleveland and Suzanne (David) Majerus of Sheboygan Falls; three step-sons, Keith ( Drema ) Schwinn of Cleveland, VA, Neil (Sharon) Schwinn of Kiel, and Jeffrey (Kathleen) Schwinn of Howards Grove; step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her loving partner, Kenneth Olm, and his children, Randy (Barb) Olm and Rosemary (Carl) Mueller, and their families. Jola was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Gerald, her parents, her daughter, Vicki Lynn Kolb, and one sister, Darlene Lefeber. Funeral services to celebrate Jola's life will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, March 9, 2014, at the Wenig Funeral Home, 711 Broadway, Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Tom Schroeder officiating. Entombment will take place at Gardens of Peace Mausoleum in the Town of Sheboygan. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the time of the service at 4:00 pm.
