John Raml

August 6, 1925 — November 20, 2011

John J. Raml, 86, of Adell, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center in the Town of Plymouth. John was born on August 6, 1925 in Milwaukee, son of John and Julia (Korbel) Raml. John proudly served in the US Army during WWII. He married Caroline Adams in Sheboygan. Caroline passed away on March 5, 2003. John was employed with Pioneer Container as a truck driver for 30 years and owned a small fire extinguisher business. John was a member of VFW in Random Lake. He played drums and saxophone for various bands, most recently the Polka-teers. John is survived by his daughter, Marianne (Charles) Bindrich of Kewaskum; two sons, John (Pat) Raml of Baltimore, MD and Mickey Raml of Elcajon, CA; one stepson, Arthur (Chris) Birch of Filmore; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Caroline; two sisters; and three brothers. Funeral services to celebrate John's life will be held at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Chapel with Chaplain Bob Lantz officiating. Military Honors will follow. Entombment will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in the Town of Wilson. A memorial fund has been established in John's name for Rocky Knoll and Heartland Hospice.
