Jeffrey Trowbridge

Jeffrey "Jeff" J. Trowbridge, 84, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. Jeff was born on January 25, 1928, in Sheboygan, son of Walter and Pauline (Brickner) Trowbridge. He was a 1946 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School and a 1950 graduate of UW-Madison. Jeff served in the US Navy from 1950-1952, serving time aboard the USS Menifee. On May 11, 1971 he married Florence Galbari. Jeff was employed as an engineer for Bemis Manufacturing Co. for 50 years until his retirement in 2002. Jeff was a member of EAA Chapter #766, the Sheboygan Yacht Club, and the Sheboygan Falls Conservation Club. He enjoyed spending time at the cottage, traveling, hunting, and building experimental aircraft. Jeff was an avid Packer and Badger fan. Jeff is survived by his wife, Florence; four daughters, Kathleen Saladino of Sheboygan, Marie (David) Konz of Newton, Jorja (Fred) Kulow of Plymouth, and Tammy (Michael) Schaller of Waldo; three sons, Michael Trowbridge of Sheboygan Falls, Tommy Trowbridge of Florida, and Dennis Trowbridge of Arizona; nine grandchildren, Rebecca and Jenny Saladino, Nicole (Ben) Hartmann, Nathan (Christina) Scherer, Shannon Sargeant, Trever (Wendy) Kulow, Heather (Jeff) Gruenke, Sanya (Fiance' John DeBlaey) Schaller, and Justin (Dana) Schaller; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers, William Trowbridge of Sheboygan and Walter "Laddie" (Asiata) Trowbridge of Henderson, Nevada. Jeff is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services to celebrate Jeff's life will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, January 3, 2013, at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls. Entombment will take place in Garden of Peace Mausoleum in the Town of Sheboygan. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until the time of the service at 6:00 pm.
