Jeffrey Lewin

Jeffrey A. Lewin, age 67, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Oostburg on Thursday, April 1, 2021.

Jeffrey was born July 14, 1953 in Milwaukee, the son of Marvin and Margaret (nee Walsh) Lewin. He graduated from Nicolet High School in 1971 and went on to study at UW Stout. For over 30 years, he worked at Georgia Pacific as a machine operator.

On August 9, 1974, he was united in marriage with Debra Peters in Milwaukee. In 1977, the couple moved to Oostburg.

Jeffrey loved hunting, fishing, camping, gardening and traveling. He lived for his kids and granddaughters; his family was his everything.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife Deb and their children Christopher (Tina) and Jennifer, both of Oostburg. He is further survived by his granddaughters: Jordyn and Peyton; siblings: Mike Lewin of Milwaukee, Nancy Lewin of Cedar Grove and Doug (Laurie) Lewin of Cleveland; sister-in-law Joyce Lewin of Milwaukee; brother-in-law Carl T. Peters of Milwaukee; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-laws Carl and Alvera Peters and his brother Steven Lewin.

The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 11:00AM – 1:00PM at Wenig Funeral Home, 108 Center Ave. in Oostburg. A private family service will follow. Masks and social distancing are required.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Jeffrey’s name.
