Jeanna L. Bertram

Jeanna L. Bertram, of Adell, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. She was 45 years old.

Jeanna was born April 15, 1978, in Sheboygan. She graduated from Oostburg High School.

On December 16, 2000, Jeanna, his Beautiful Bride, was united in marriage with James R. Bertram at First Reformed Church in Oostburg. The couple owned and operated Bertram Communications, where Jeanna served as CFO.  She was a constant supporter of growing the business and the many local communities their business serves.  Along with Jeanna’s immense commitment to the business she was a strong supporter of their many longtime employees she considered family.

A nature enthusiast, Jeanna found solace and joy in walking their dog, Thunder, the vibrant colors of blooming flowers, the serenity of time spent at the lake house, and the simplicity of fun car rides and day trips with her family. She was a beautiful soul, and nurturing to all she met. A devoted mother, she took great pride in homeschooling her son, James Jr. (aka “porker”). A loving wife and his Beautiful Bride, Jeanna and Jim shared 23 wonderful years of marriage together.  They made many glorious memories travelling to Hawaii, Niagara Falls, Mexico and countless others.  Her family was the most important thing in Jeanna’s life; she was the heart and soul of their family and will be forever in their hearts.

Jeanna is survived by her husband, Jim, and their son, James R. Bertram Jr., many relatives, friends and their beloved collie, Thunder.

The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday December 16th from 10:00AM-1:00PM at First Reformed Church in Oostburg.  The service will be held at 1:00PM following the visitation. She will be laid to rest at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery in Adell.

Jeanna’s legacy will live on through her selfless gift of organ donation, and her generosity will touch countless lives.
