Jeanette A. Dulmes, 88, of Hingham died on Friday night, February 27, 2015 at St. Nicholas Hospital. Jeanette was born on March 21, 1926 in the Town of Holland, the daughter of the late W. Abram and Delia (VerGowe) Hesselink. She attended Greene School in the Town of Holland. On January 26, 1944 she married Derwin "Dick" Dulmes in the Town of Holland. They were married 67 years prior to his death on April 30, 2011. She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm in the Town of Holland most of their married lives. Jeanette was a lifelong member of the Hingham Reformed Church where she was active in the Mission Circle, Women's Guild, choir and was a Sunday school teacher. Jeanette was also a member of the Merry Matrons Homemaker Club and the Sheboygan County Farm Bureau. She enjoyed baking, gardening, music, playing piano, bowling, crafts, playing cards and dominoes, and jig saw puzzles. Jeanette is survived by her daughter, Beverly Walber of Oostburg; three sons, David (Rogene) Dulmes of Oostburg, Glenn (Jody) Dulmes of Clearwater, FL, and Keith (Carol) Dulmes of Waldo; a daughter-in-law, Dianne (Jim) VerGowe of Sheboygan Falls; twelve grandchildren, Kevin (Shelly) Dulmes, Shelly (Dan) Mullikin, Eric Dulmes, Tim (Angela) Dulmes, Nicole (Jay) Horne, Shane Dulmes, Eric (Jessica) Krause, Jeremy Krause, Anthony "AJ" Dulmes, Jerrod (fiancé Kari Krueger) Dulmes, Amy (Gordie) Seegert, Alison (Luke) Scholten; 15 great grandchildren; one sister, Lillian Dykstra of Hingham; a sister-in-law, Carol (John) Vruwink of North Carolina; and a brother-in-law, Wayne (Lois) Dulmes of Oostburg. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Derwin "Dick"; an infant daughter; a son, Roland Dulmes; a son-in-law, Ronald Hilbelink; and two brothers, Lloyd (Romelle) Hesselink and Vernon (Leora) Hesselink; and one brother-in-law, Gerald Dykstra. A funeral to celebrate Jeanette's life will take place at the Hingham Reformed Church on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 10:30 am with the Rev. Steven Bakker officiating. Burial will take place at the Hingham Cemetery in the Town of Lima.
