Jeanette Jean Burkee Jeanette J. Burkee, 43, of 7508 Sylvan Drive, Caledonia, Wis., died Sunday, February 4, 2007 at the Terrace at St. Francis in Milwaukee. She was born October 28, 1963 in Three Rivers, Michigan, the daughter of Jerry Dean and Janice Marie (Smith) Burk. Jeanette was a graduate of Nathan Hale High School in West Allis and Evangel College and Lakeland College. On June 20, 1992, Jeanette married P. Benjamin Burkee in Brookfield. She was a Certified Public Accountant. Jeanette was a member of First Assembly of God in Kenosha where she was involved in Grief Ministry and Marriage Encounter. She was a member of AICPA and WICPA. Jeanette enjoyed her children, sewing, crafts and drama. Survivors include her husband, Rev. P. Benjamin Burkee of Caledonia; two daughters, Sarah and Hannah Burkee; two sons, Nicholas and Joshua Burkee; a brother, John (Trudy) Burk of Lowell, Mich.; her father, Jerry Burk of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; mother, Janice Burk of West Allis grandparents, Roscoe and Welcom Burk of Prescott, Ariz.; and parents-in-law, Ronald and Carol Burkee of New Port Richey Florida. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Anne Burkee; one sister, Jewelette Sue Burk, and maternal grandparents, Emmet and Viola Smith. The staff of the Wenig Funeral Home of Sheboygan Falls, is serving the Burkee family.
