Jean Bonsack

Jean F. Bonsack, 89 of Sheboygan Falls died on Saturday morning, August 8, 2015 at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. Jean was born on June 5, 1926 in Mt. Calvary, the daughter of Benedict and Antoinette (Mohr) Hochrein. She graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1944. On June 14, 1947 Jean married James Bonsack in Sheboygan Falls. Jim preceded her in death on March 3, 2004 following 55 years of marriage. Jean was a letter carrier for several years at the Sheboygan Falls Post Office. Jean was a devoted member at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls where she served as funeral lunch coordinator, bingo volunteer and past president of the Christian Mothers and the American Legion Auxiliary. She also volunteered at Sheboygan Falls Senior Center, St. Nicholas Hospital Auxiliary, Greendale Health Center, Red Cross, Sheboygan County Triad, and the Sheboygan Falls Food Pantry. She also participated in the Sheboygan Falls Rookies Dartball Team and Sheboygan Falls Diamond Bean Bag Team. Jean enjoyed gardening, growing roses, card playing and camping. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Anderson of Green Bay; a son-in-law, Steven Margeneau of Illinois; four grandchildren, Michele (Brian) Brunner, Scott (Heather) Anderson, Timothy (Janice) Margeneau, and Nicole Margeneau; five great grandchildren; one sister, Marilyn (Robert) Hammann of Plymouth; nieces and nephews; and dear friends, John and Karen Gilsdorf of Sheboygan Falls. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, James; a daughter, Nancy Margeaeau; a son-in-law, Rodney Anderson; and a sister, Dorothy Coveney. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Jean's life will take place at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 10:30 am with the Revs. Bob Lotz and Dennis Van Beek officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls. Family and friends will gather at Blessed Trinity Parish on Thursday from 9am until the time of the Mass at 10:30 am.
