Jane Reklaitis

Jane F. Reklaitis, 75, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 22, 2016. Jane was born on November 16, 1940, in Sheboygan, daughter of Elmer C. and Elizabeth G. (Frey) Bethke. She was a 1958 graduate of Sheboygan Central High School. On January 7, 1961, she married Joseph Reklaitis at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Sheboygan. Jane was employed as a Loan Officer and Collection Supervisor with Sheboygan Area Credit Union for 25 years until her retirement. Jane was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls. She cherished the time that she could spend with her family, collecting angels, music and playing the keyboard, cooking, going for scenic drives and spending time at the Sheboygan County airport watching planes come and go. Jane is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joseph; her daughter, Angela Jane (Ivan) VerGowe of Oostburg; her son, Joseph Francis (Michelle) Reklaitis of Concord, NE; five grandchildren, Andrea (Aaron) Covey, Andrew (Laura) VerGowe, Micah Reklaitis, Malakai Reklaitis, and Johannah Reklaitis; one great-granddaughter, Autumn Rayne Covey; one sister, Mary L. Feavel of Sheboygan; and one sister-in-law, Carol Bethke of Madison. Jane was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Harold (Kathy) Bethke, Elmer (Marlene) Bethke, Robert Bethke, Frederick Bethke, and James Bethke; and one sister, Elizabeth Bethke. A Memorial Mass to celebrate Jane's life will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 28, 2016, at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Bob Lotz and Rev. Phil Reifenberg concelebrating. Family and friends may gather at the church from 1:00 pm until the time of the Mass at 3:00 pm. A memorial fund has been established in Jane's name.
