James Silvis III

James Dean Silvis III, 75, of Sheboygan passed away on Friday December 16, 2016 at Sharon S Richardson Hospice Community in Sheboygan Falls. Jim was born on April 29, 1941 to James and Catherine (VanDerWeege) Silvis Jr. in Green Bay. Jim was a 1959 graduate of Sheboygan North High School and graduated with an Associate's Degree in Electrical engineering. Jim served his country in the United States Navy from 1959-1961. Jim was a car sales associate for many years. Jim enjoyed playing his guitar, singing and riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. Jim is survived by his daughter, Charity Silvis of Sioux City, IA. He is further survived by his wife of 30 years, Sandra Silvis and two step children, Patricia Vandeloo and William Rath; two grandchildren, cousins and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two aunts and one uncle. A memorial service to celebrate Jim's life will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 1pm at City Church in Sheboygan. Inurnment will be at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the church from 12pm until the time of service at 1pm. A memorial fund is being established in Jim's name.
