James Heidemann

James Raymond Heidemann, 72, of Sheboygan died on Sunday morning, January 24, 2016 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center following heart failure. James was born on February 4, 1943 in West Bend to Elmer and Dorothy (Schmidt) Heidemann. He attended Longfellow School in Sheboygan and currently resided with his sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Mike Stieghorst in the Town of Sheboygan. He was a well-respected and loved employee at RCS Empowers. He was employed there for 46 years up until the time of his death. James touched the lives of everyone that he met. He always had a beautiful smile that he shared with everyone that he came in contact with. He will be truly missed. James was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls and REINS Therapeutic Horseback Riding. He enjoyed horseback riding, country western music, semi-trucks, bowling, watching television, and the Green Bay Packers. James is survived by two sisters, Mary (Richard) Schneider of Winona, MN and Donna (Mike) Stieghorst of Sheboygan; four brothers, Emmet of Eagle River, Michael (Celeste) of McHenry, IL, John (Karen) of Sheboygan and Joe (Lynn) Heidemann of Sheboygan; a sister-in-law Julie Heidemann of the Philippines; nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. James was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Richard; and a sister-in-law, Corinne Heidemann. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 6 pm with Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Burial will take place at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls. Family and friends will gather at the church on Thursday from 3-6 pm. A memorial fund is being established in his memory for REINS Therapeutic Horseback Riding.
